About Tim Giles

The Author:
Tim Giles is a regular columnist and feature writer for magazines and online publications in Australia. A selection of Tim's web marketing related articles can be found at Sagital Media. Tim also writes a popular web marketing blog called Surfing the Money Shot. In the early 1990's Tim created the nom de plume, Seymour Monkey, and has written pop culture and travel reviews for a variety of street press and online publications. Tim is currently developing a range of projects including a film script, a marketing e-book and a novel.

The Marketer:
Tim Giles has been helping businesses improve the yield of their web operations for over ten years. This has included successful web startups and major international brands such as Vodafone, Colgate and Thrifty. In 2006 Tim was featured on Channel Nine’s Your Business Success program. From 2004 to 2008 Tim was General Manager of Site Marketing and Strategy for Ansearch Ltd, an Australian search and syndication provider. Tim continues to help business make more money online through Sagital Media, a marketing services and publishing consultancy, as well as being a regular feature writer on online marketing issues for various magazines and publications.

The Producer:
In 2000 Tim helped launch, manage and develop Mobemail, a popular mobile communications website and e-zine. In the subsequent years Tim has project managed the development, launch and marketing of a range of multimedia projects including CD-ROM materials for schools, television commercials and websites. Tim's most recent project is Pant Hoot an irreverant travel related blog.

Speaking Engagements:
Tim recently appeared at the Churchill Club in Melbourne, where he was a guest panelist on the discussion subject of "The Future of Search". Tim has also delivered presentations on web marketing to Swinburne University and the Soush publisher network.
